Taking away the autonomy and the illegal annexation of the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir did not serve the ultimate interests of the BJP-led government in India. This decision was taken to just make the way for demographic changes in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) which will be final assault on the existence of Kashmiri people. To pursue this inhuman and illegal agenda, the Hindu nationalist government led by Mr. Modi is aggressively working on two plans. Firstly, the Indian forces have been given the task to commit the genocide of Kashmiri Muslims. Since 2019, the valley has witnessed significant rise in fake encounters and killings of the unarmed civilians at the hands of Indian brutal forces. In addition, hundreds of properties of the Kashmiris have been destroyed. Secondly, the barbaric and oppressive Indian authorities, after introducing new domicile laws, have issued thousands of new domiciles to the Hindus who are not residents of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The government of Pakistan has done a plausible job on the diplomatic front by exposing the Indian illegal and vicious activities in IIOJK but it should aggressively work in the law-fare domain. The people of Pakistan have always vehemently supported the Kashmiri people in their struggle for their just right to self-determination. The Kashmiri Muslims need the Pakistani support more than ever as it is now a do or die situation for their existence. Common Pakistani must build pressure on the government to “do the right” for IIOJK. This is high time for the International community especially the United Nations Security Council to recognize the seriousness of the matter and fulfil its promises to the oppressed people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and save them from the Hindu Zionist Regime.
The projection of India as “largest democracy” in the world has got detrimental setbacks due to the rise of Hindu Radicalism in India under the BJP leadership and the discriminatory policies against the minorities especially the Indian Muslims and Sikhs living in India.
The BJP, current ruling party of India, is right wing political party dominated by Hindutva followers. The ideologues of Hindutva ideology believe that India should be converted into a Pure Hindu State and the other minorities especially Muslims should either be converted to Hinduism or thrown out of India. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is the largest and oldest volunteer organization in India which has been greatly contributed to bring Hindutva ideology in the mainstream politics of India. Most of the BJP leaders, like Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, have been active members of the RSS. In the pursuit of their agenda to make India a pure Hindu Nation, the BJP-led led government is introducing and implementing inhuman and prejudicial policies.
The Hindu Nationalist government in India enacted the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on 4th December 2019 which excluded the Muslims immigrants. This decision resulted into nationwide protests in India. More than 25 people lost their lives during the Anti CAA protests and most of them are killed allegedly by the police. This discriminatory and unjust attitude of the BJP government is not restricted to Indian Muslims, now the Sikhs are bearing the brunt of Hindutva forces. The BJP government passed three farm bills with the stated objective to bring “reforms”. Sikhs staged protests which have caught global attention. Instead of addressing the concerns of Sikh farmers, the Indian government led by Hindu Nationalists used violent means to suppress them. Christians and Dalits would be the next target of the RSS goons.
